Visiting Us

Worship: What to Expect:
Our assemblies are simple. We are a church patterned after the New Testament example of local churches. We believe in the authoritative word of God and will provide you with a Bible answer for everything we do in our doctrine and practice. We exalt Jesus Christ and seek to glorify Him, not ourselves (Ephesians 3:21). Therefore, our efforts are directed toward promoting commitment to Christ, not to any man or institution (1 Corinthians 2:5).

Singing:
We sing without use of an instrument (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).

Praying:
We pray (1 Timothy 2:1, 6-7)

We come to worship to pray to God, our Father and Creator of all. We pray to the Father in Jesus, His only Son’s name (John 16:23 – In that day, you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He will give it to you).

Lord’s Supper:
We partake of the Lord’s Supper (Communion) each first day of the week (1 Corinthians, 11:23-29; Acts 20:1)

Giving:
The financial support of this congregation comes from the free-will offerings of its members made on the first day of the week (1 Corinthians, 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians, 8:1-5; 9:6-7).

Preaching:
We preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. As the apostle Paul stated in his letter to the Corinthian church in 1 Corinthians 4:17, “For this reason, I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.”
